It has been known, understood, and accepted by scholars inthe developed world that wealth is not created bygovernments, but it has not been clearly accepted that debt cannot be borne by governments.

Your government is a pauper in regal attire. It’s a money shifter…a high horsepower engineof distribution. But, the tide thatraises all ships never flows directly from government. At the end of the day, your government has noassets and no liabilities…it’s a zero sum operator.

The wealth and the debt are yours. Right now in America, you and every othercitizen owes about $40,000 to buy back the IOUs your Congress has written. And, your Congress can’t pay. So the question is: Who’s holding the IOUs, and who’s going tohave to pay? Well, look in your walletto see how many IOUs you have. Cash? An uncashed paycheck? Look in your checkbook, your savings book,and at your 401k statement. Add themarket value of all your “stuff”. Remember, you can’t add it unless you can sell it. Look under your mattress. That’s the collection I’m calling your“wealth”.

Now, add up your mortgage and all your other bills. Add $40,000 for each person in yourhousehold. That’s your debt. But, wait! Even if you can pull multiples of $40,000 out of your cache of “wealth”to pay your share and Mama’s share, what about all those Americans whocan’t? Sooner or later, you’ll chip infor all those shares, too. You’ll thinkyou’ve been robbed. Someday, you’llstare into that empty safe deposit box and wonder who stole your wealth. Remember this little news flash. You did when you voted. You picked Representatives and Senators whounfortunately are inept money managers. Concepts like “defraud”, “mismanage”, “abscond”, “fleece”, “embezzle”, “rob”,and “bamboozle” tend to reduce the milk toast term “inept” intoinsignificance. Congressional “fiduciaryflim flam” and “arrogant obfuscation” are labels that suit my way of thinking.

Ultimately, you’ll pay. Perhaps you can just “feel good” about chipping in for all the lessfortunate Americans who haven’t saved up for the “debt collector”. Or, this time…perhaps you can vote.

Ineptocracy (in-ep-toc’-ra-cy) - a system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing, and where the members of society least likely to sustain themselves or succeed, are rewarded with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers.

This is where we appear to be at this point in time. We truly are at the crossroads where the American electorate will decide in November, 2012, for better or for worse, what type of society we will be. Four more years of Obama will result in a situation where we cannot recover.

Hank and Fiona...one easy lesson

Hank and Fiona found the house of their dreams, and they applied at Friendly Bank for a mortgage loan. They asked for $490,000, and were able to make a down payment of $10,000 (which they borrowed on their MasterCard). This was all ok with the bank, because the bank got $300 for processing the loan application, and they got $1,200 in miscellaneous fees at closing. Rob Hood, the realtor, got $30,000 from the seller for listing the home and assisting in the acquisition. His realty company devoted a total of 15 hours to assist Hank and Fiona, thus earning $2,000 per hour. Fannie Mae guaranteed the loan in response to a directive from the president, Bill Clinton. Hank, Fiona, their bank, Fannie Mae, Bill Clinton, and Franklin Raines were pleased with themselves. Barney Franks did a little dance. Rob Hood bought a $48,000 Cadillac Escalade by putting $30,000 down and financing $18,000. Financing was through Friendly Bank.

Hank worked for GM, where he was paid $58,000 in direct wages and $24,000 in fringe benefits. Fiona worked for the Cadillac dealer in the accounting office. She earned $22,000 per year. Their take home pay was $5,000 a month, but the bank added the cash value of the fringe benefits, and calculated a monthly take home of $6,800. Their mortgage payment would be $2,900. A very risky high ratio of 43%.

You know what happened. Thousands of car buyers bought Hondas, Toyotas, Hyundais, and Nissans instead of GM, Ford, and Chrysler cars.

Astute car buyers figured it out that lots of Big Three cars were albatrosses over laden with built-in obsolescence. Engines would wear out in half the time, shocks and ball joints were doomed to 3-year lifetimes due to low-cost supplier syndrome, and rust at the Big Three was a treated like a strategic ally. Meanwhile, rice burners were routinely going 250,000 miles, rewarding their owners with high resale values and reliability factors.

Fiona was laid off. Hank was furloughed (he got a payday anyhow as a result of the sweet UAW contract, consisting of 90% of his normal pay). Soon, Hank, Fiona, and a significant number of other jobless, helpless citizens felt the pinch, and those insane mortgage payments were missed. An avalanche of foreclosures and bankruptcies followed. It was an avalanche Fannie Mae could not survive. Fannie Mae had paid Franklin Raines a 20 million dollar salary to bet the farm on a Clinton trifecta of (1) irresponsible loan approvals, (2) insane loan guarantees, and (3) a hope that the American people would not understand what was happening.

When Fannie Mae’s reserve of guarantee money was depleted, the banks stopped getting their guaranteed funds. The Cadillac dealer missed his floor plan payment. First, a few new home buyers backed out, and then more retreated to just make do with their existing homes. Sales of used homes plummeted. Rob Hood’s plan to make $2,000 per hour went west in three months. Franklin Raines drove off with a fortune. Bill Clinton created his own headline: “Bush Watches as the Economy Crashes”. Barney Frank resorted to the Clinton playbook, and denied all responsibility every time he was asked.

Now, let’s figure out where the money went, and how to solve the problems of joblessness, foreclosure, bankruptcy, and despair.

Hank and Fiona bought a house they couldn’t afford. Their incomes came indirectly from car buying customers.
The Friendly Bank loaned money on risky terms, but Fannie Mae took all the risk out by guaranteeing the mortgages.
The Master Card people assumed at least 95% of all the people like Hank and Fiona could continue to make their payments.
Rob Hood wrongly assumed he could list and sell a $500,000 house every month.
Bill Clinton assumed he would be judged a super hero by the blue collar crowd.
Franklin Raines figured he could perpetuate a $20,000,000 per year salary and bonus package, because he was in the “in” crowd.
Barney Franks assumed his dreams of being on top would all come true, because he was comfortable with his “untouchable” mystique.
The Cadillac dealer ordered all the Cadillacs he could floor-plan because he didn’t want to miss out on one sale.

America needs to know what the root of the problem is. After all, preventing the next debacle is in our hands. The root is Arrogance.

· General Motors was a victim of incompetent, gutless, arrogant management.

The scientific evidence for evolution is very strong, and evolution's message is that only flexible and adaptable organisms survive in a world of constant change. Reduced to everyday individual terms, it means no single behavioral pattern can for all time be branded “correct” or “normal.” This is the core reason religion fails to provide for real human needs (hunger, for example), and this failing is shared by psychology – they both put forth a fixed behavioral model in a constantly changing world.

US wealth gap between young and old is widest ever

WASHINGTON (AP) -- The wealth gap between younger and older Americans has stretched to the widest on record and saddled them with housing and college debt.

The typical U.S. household headed by a person age 65 or older has a net worth 47 times greater than a household headed by someone under 35, according to an analysis of census data released Monday.

While people typically accumulate assets as they age, this gap is now more than double what it was in 2005 and nearly five times the 10-to-1 disparity a quarter-century ago, after adjusting for inflation.

The obvious cure for this terrible inequality is for the elderly to PAY THEIR FAIR SHARE !! Tax those rich old coots. Thousands of well-wishing citizens from seven Midwest states are flocking to Minnesota to wave bye bye to former Gov. Jesse Ventura. Ventura, who is upset by the dismissal of his airport security lawsuit sent out vibes that he loves spending time in Mexico.

Ventura, also a former wrestling star, sued the U.S. government in January, alleging that airport scans and pat-downs amounted to unreasonable search and seizure. He said he was subjected to a body pat-down last November. Ventura said he hasn't flown since and won't fly commercially again.

Commissioner David Stern wiped out the first two weeks of the 2011-12 NBA season after negotiations failed to produce a new labor deal. The cancellations mark the NBA’s first work stoppage since the 1998-99 season was reduced to 50 games. Stern said the sides are “very far apart on virtually all issues".

This appears to us in the general public to be a bunch of babies who all want the popcorn popper toy. The facts of this case are poorly understood by all parties, but the Age of Arrogance and Infantile Gridlock has come due for the sport of professional basketball.

Go home, you babies! Now, I wouldn't pay a dollar for an NBA ticket.

Deserving

We all have to make choices every day about helping others who are unable to help themselves. Mostly, we don't go out of our way looking for deserving handicapped or disabled folks to assist. Occasionally, we chance upon a citizen in distress, a stranded motorist, a blind person trying to cross Main Street, or an unfortunate traveler just beaten and robbed by a band of Levites (on the road to Jericho). We drive over to grandma's house (she's 89) to take her for her hair appointment, and we take Uncle Bob some Sports Illustrated magazines when he's cooped up at the hospital for three days of tests. There are so many unfortunate people who deserve our help.

But, there are some citizens who might not deserve a hand and a ten spot. You might think your job is to lend a hand and throw money into the tin cup, and it might actually give you a flash of pride to be of service to the needy. I've certainly done it. But you might be doing a disservice. In fact, charity often runs the risk of doing harm rather than good.

I work at a little job, and I get a payday. I'm capable of tweaking my lifestyle to fit my income, and I don't mind living in a little house. I drink tap water instead of Starbucks, and lots of my meals are makeshift right off the carbohydrate shelf. My car could easily be a bicycle, and my suit would be just fine even if it were off the size 36 rack at Goodwill.

I'm driven to waste-not. I try hard to not throw away good water, good food, good electricity or fuel, good opportunities, good friendships, nor good information. I fight to subdue wasteful temptations, and I've taken out a few in the fourteenth round. I've earned an evil reputation as a very poor gift giver. But, I know what the most valuable gifts are, and I understand what it means to give them. I'm thankful for the little I've got, because for most everything, I worked hard for it. I'm thankful for the people who think of me and call me on the phone just to say hello. I'm thankful for lots and lots of other things, too, and I don't regret not having the things I couldn't get on my own. It's possible I'm the clam people are happy as.

So, I have a pretty tight and compact opinion on who deserves what. I realize that figuring out who is deserving of my contributions and my care necessitates that I judge their condition. Right now, that need to be judgmental is causing me some grief, but I think I'll pull out of it. Here's the way I'm choosing to frame the "deserving" question:

If a person's physical or mental condition makes it unreasonably difficult for them to generate an income, I believe I should help. I don't care how meager an income is, because I know lifestyles can be adjusted to fit almost any income. A person who makes an honest effort to adjust his or her lifestyle usually can do it, and I have a lot of respect for that.

I wish the entitlement mentality at our hub of government were tight and compact like mine. I'm sure I'd happily contribute my bounty and my time to deserving Americans. I'll even offer some tips on adjusting lifestyles to suit incomes. Be careful, I'm tight.

The "Sacrifice" President

Citizens generally believe the depression of the thirties was solved in the forties by massive government spending (jobs, war materiel) for WWII. Massive debt was repaid after the war because war-winning confidence levels and boom times prevailed. This theory is so prevalent, that some Americans secretly wish for war so the 2011 economy would skyrocket again. Others take the stand that massive spending on "anything" would serve the same purpose, and they want to "get on with more stimulus spending"...trillions, in fact.

But, overlooked by the "massive spending" crowd is the more palatable theory that it was "massive sacrifice" that brought depression to its knees. Millions of Americans learned to live on soup and bread in the thirties. Tiny incomes and diminished lifestyles characterized most American demographics. Depression made "Grapes of Wrath" into a story of living history.

The nineteen twenties (postwar WWI) struggled economically until 1924, when five years of prosperity inflated the bubble that popped in 1929. The thirties meant hard times for almost everyone. There is no doubt that sacrifice was served at each dinner table on dusty plates with crusts of bread sopped in hopelessness.

Families sacrificed by congregating into drafty little houses, two or three families together. Men trudged off to jobs that were sometimes just fiction and rumor. Americans shared their meager turnip soup.

But the specter of evil in Nazi Germany, made obvious by its vicious attacks in Europe, and its senseless lunge at Great Britain's jugular brought American men to their feet. The Japanese horror at Pearl Harbor created a million man Navy of volunteers. Thousands mobbed recruiting stations. Armament construction, personnel training, war materiel production, home town support, and a spirit of extraordinary excitement shook out the dust of hopelessness, and America's economic recovery sprang to life.

It was a textbook story of sacrifice. It was the rise of millions of Americans to their feet to defend their homeland. It was honest, purposeful, hard work, and it was the unconditional love of freedom that propelled men back to work on ships and into battlefields. It was the unconditional faith in their men that attracted wives into the factories as welders and pipe fitters.

The Sacrifice of 2013, it can be called, could be America's World War on economic recession. Home owners sacrificing the 25% "bubble growth" of their home values would be sacrificial, but prophylactic. Workers with wages and salaries on jobs with huge dollar growths over a ten year period could sacrifice 25% to 50% of current rates and perform the miracle of "keeping their jobs". Industries with 20%, 50%, and even 80% margins could stay in business by sacrificing all but 10% as "war on recession" profit.

Can private sector markets sacrifice voluntarily? Can government set the standard of sacrifice? Who will lead the 2013 war?

Don't ask a question unless you have an answer. I do. The person to lead the sacrifice of 2013 is most likely a man of character and clarity. One of impeccable honesty, who emotes an instant air of strength, commitment, and determination. It's a man who we can elevate to a position where he can reach the "go" button, and it's a man we can unquestionably believe in. He'll be an icon of generalship. He'll know how to focus on the goal, and he'll know what extraneous inconsequentalia to ignore. Let's soothe the frightened and get on with the sacrifice.

Hopefully, he'll cut all Federal salaries by 50%.
He'll padlock any public agencies that did not have self-sustaining income in the last year.
He'll opt out of all federal loan guarantees.
He'll cut all government petroleum use by 50% (except defense).
He'll travel by car, or he'll work from home.
He'll cut all entitlement payments to otherwise healthy recipients to zero.

When the history book chapter on Sacrifice is written, the "Sacrifice President" will be on page one.

Need better education through small class sizes and higher pay for teachers? Solution: Hire more teachers who actually want to teach. Check out an Amish school. There, Amish children get their entire education by the eighth grade. Their educations are based on life’s uncomplicated needs.

Need a solution for the abortion debate? Solution: Check out Amish values. Love every child. No unwanted children, no abortions.

Eliminate the fossil fuel supply and price dilemma. Heat with wood. Travel using buggies and horses.

Respect diversity and eliminate discrimination. Check out Amish humility (demut). They’re immersed in discrimination issues every day, but they never complain. There’s a simple clear solution hiding in there.

Don’t tell me who I can or cannot love. Get over it. You know full well you can love anyone you wish. Drop the woe trip. Amish values are Bible based. Values are based on the concept of unconditional love and forgiveness. No exceptions.

We need to be stewards of the environment. Solution: Leave the metropolitan life. Shun industry. Live on a farm. Can’t leave the city? Live clean, like the Amish.

Eliminate health dangers of processed foods and chemical additives. Solution: Grow what you eat.

Stop utility companies from unilateral price setting. Solution: Tell the utility company no. Go to bed when the sun goes down. Get up with the chickens. Like the Amish.

Eliminate the need for prisons. Solution: Go with a set of values and a lifestyle that results in no crime. Check out the Amish population in jails. You’ll be impressed.

We need excellent health and excellent health care. Solution: Work. Get lots of exercise. Eat healthy food. When you need care, make sure there are lots of friends, neighbors, and relatives who will get you there. Amish all chip in to insure appropriate medical care for every member. They pay cash.

We need to prevent outsiders from taking over America and stealing our freedom. Solution: Live in a country that has superior technology and leaders who have courage to engage threats without waffling. Amish have found that this solution exists in America.

We need to promote financial responsibility. No deficit spending. Solution: Go on a cash basis. It’s a concept the Amish have perfected.

Disturbed about Christian influence in government? Our government wouldn’t exist if it were not for Christianity. Feel free to worship as you see fit, but make sure you can fit in with Christians. Abandoning Christianity would dissolve what America stands for. If you want a country that is based on your brand of religion, move there. That’s what the Amish did. They wanted the Christianity available in America, and they moved here.

A member of a liberal society jealous of success via Capitalism, Industry, Research, and Technology lives the hypocrite’s life when he drives a car, lives in a modern home, or fills prescriptions at the drug store. He exposes his dishonesty when he ducks down behind the US military in wartime. He spills his sour homemade wine of mendacity all over the shoes of real Americans when he rails against the same technologies he uses.

Amish don’t criticize Capitalism, Industry, Research, or Technology. They welcome modern ideas, and they use advancements that fit within their very humble needs.

One of the provisions in Obama's proposed "Jobs Bill" is to establish a NEW category of outlawed discrimination.

If the bill is passed, a new legally protected classification would be the "unemployed." It would be illegal not to hire a person applying for a job if he/she is unemployed. Yes, you read that right. So, if unemployed Joe Blow applies for a job and doesn't get that job, he can now sue the company for discrimination. It seems to me that this would make any employer NOT want even interveiw or give job applications to any unemployed person. The only jobs this might help would be for the trial lawyers. I just found out I could make $2500 a month by working just two hours a day right in my own home. Doing what? It would cost me $299 to find out what I'd be doing. Actually, I'm already qualified, and my name was chosen from an extensive list of less accomplished people. I've got to hurry, though, because there are a limited number of slots available. Never mind what kind of work I'd do...I'm already qualified...very well qualified.

Or, I could just withdraw some savings and buy Euros. They're just about to take off. I could double my investment in 18 months. Currency trading is hot right now, and everybody who loaded up on gold will be begging for francs and Euros about a nanosecond after gold retreats 20% from its recent high. It'll be a bloodbath for the gold investors, and I'll be right where the skyrocket will be launched from...currency.

The Payday

When I read that New York City sewer workers got an unusual payday (including back pay for years when they didn't receive pay increases) of $700,000, I remembered my thoughts about salaries and salary negotiating. When I went to work, I found out what I'd be expected to do, and I promised to do my best. I said I'd expect a modest $400/month. At various times the cost of living changed, and occasionally I got a take it or leave it (raise) offer. I always took it, because I knew the "leave it" would involve applying elsewhere. I knew I was in control of my "take it or leave it" career...not someone else.

I never had the idea that I had to "fight" for my pay, and (luckily) I never had to fight against unreasonable policies. There are probably some employers who make it hard for all their employees out of ignorance or arrogance. I think I was fortunate, but I know everyone needs some patience in any relationship...employer/employee relationships included. Lots of times the frustrations are just little peas in your princess shoes. They're easy to shake out.

The idea that your significance as a "real person" depends on your "raise" is a foolish idea. Raises are "take it or leave it" deals, and businesses do everything by "take it or leave it". Otherwise, they'd be charities. Now, I realize businesses that have lost the win-win partnership with their labor force and are characterized by a "take it or take it" union contract (extortion note), are specialized charities.

In a survey conducted in August 2011, respondents confirmed a terrible suspicion posited at the Scarpacci Institute...concern for the financial condition of the United States of America is severely limited, and in almost every response, a cross section of American citizens said they would not accept responsibility for cleaning up the mess.

The survey referred to a theoretical family with a burdensome debt and a modest, but realistic income. Also, an excessive spending spree added woe to the financial condition. In fact, all the dollar figures presented were exactly .000001 percent of the U.S. national debt, annual income, and 2011 deficit.

At this moment, every American owes $147,000 toward paying off the national debt. Here are 6 plans proposed by respondents (edited for clarity):

I would write a bad check to pay the debt off. That's what the Gov't does, why can't I?
Organize all other families who are in a similar predicament and declare bankruptcy to screw the creditor.
Live within your means or be a slave.
Send the bills to Obama, get all your money out of the bank and head for Mexico and live like a king.
Gather up all my cash, move to Idaho and live in my camper until they catch me.

Debt fueled overconsumption, internet pathways to global open trade, and optimistic domestic over-investment all factored into the U.S.’s current economic woe. But, fortunately in free markets, woes are only temporary until supply, demand, and price equations get balanced.

After the bubble broke, it became apparent to realists that a period of significant sacrifice would be absolutely necessary. This realization has escaped the conceptually impoverished minds of many elites who are demanding government make the boo boo go away by throwing obscene trillions of dollars of your money into a bottomless hole where the gimme monster lives.

I agree when Mr. Alpert says we must cease attempts to reinflate prices, because higher wages will not follow inflation of prices – there is simply too much domestic and global labor relative to demand. He also believes our political leaders and the general population are unfortunately still clueless, and they are the only ones who stand a chance at attacking underemployment and over-indebtedness (parts of the supply, demand, and price equation). Also, he seemingly believes small government, American exceptionalism and isolationism are mythical gods worshipped by unwashed chimpanzee-minded red state Americans. Whoa!

Mr. Alpert’s answer seems to be a “large-scale, government-backed direct and indirect employment program to reutilize idle labor resources and add to domestic demand”. He says “we must stop the decline in wages and salary incomes”, but he thinks taking control (compelling) the private sector to restructure debt, particularly household mortgage and commercial debt is an answer. Restructuring is a code word for bailouts at the expense of taxpayers and current asset owners. Like Treasury Secretary Timothy Geitner and Professor Robert Reich, Mr. Alpert seems to regard private savings, IRAs, all icons of wealth, and certainly all property as being ultimately owned by and subject to the stewardship of the United States government.

This author seems to say government must provide more of something. He is ignorant of the fact that government has nothing to provide. It’s the people who own America, not government. What government must do is stand aside to monitor the playing field and enforce the constitutionally provided rule of law. Meddling in the private sector is the root cause of America’s economic crisis. The private sector is fully capable of adjusting and correcting to find its comfortable balance point. Government subsidies, tariffs, price freezes, production limits, and redistribution of my paycheck to others serves to coagulate free markets and make entrepreneurial bravado flow like a cholesterol blob, where supply is just a slow trickle, and demand is waiting on the couch for the temperature in the kitchen to cool down. The Washington Monument

The recent earthquake near Washington D.C. resulted in some damage to the iconic landmark, the Washington Monument. Several cracks in the exterior masonry are visible and debris fell to the floor of the observation platform at the top. I could not help but ponder the symbolism. Our nation is cracking up too. Rick Perry's Mysterious Past

Listening to Gov. Perry, I decided that I liked him... a lot. We just elected President Obama without proper vetting. After reading this article, I am convinced that no candidate should deserve support from conservatives without knowing all the facts. Sure, Perry looks good and evidently has solid Christian credentials. But do we know him? Not yet. I do know that Perry served as Al Gore's campaign manager. August 12, 2011 Rick Perry's NAFTA Superhighway Problem

8/12/2011 Move over Mitt Romney. Rick Perry has a bigger problem to defend from his tenure as governor. Remember the NAFTA Superhighway project? It was to consist of a two-mile wide $184 billion transit system of toll roads, rail lines and utilities from the Texas-Mexico border all the way up to the Minnesota-Canadian border, to make it easier to ship foreign goods from China and other countries into North America. It became so unpopular in Texas that the Texas portion of it, called the Trans-Texas Corridor, was renamed and mostly disbanded a couple of years ago. Perry was the only gubernatorial candidate in 2006 of four major candidates who supported it. Even the Democratic candidate opposed it.

Construction of the Trans-Texas Corridor began in 2007. Perry received substantial campaign contributions from the companies expected to benefit from the construction, Cintra Concesiones de Infraestructuras de Transport and Zachry Construction Company. Cintra is a Spanish-owned company that would own the toll roads. This arrangement has been accused of being a hidden tax payable to a foreign corporation. Zachry was selected by the Texas Department of Transportation to construct the Trans-Texas Corridor. Perry initially opposed efforts by the Texas legislature to impede the construction, vetoing several bills. As opposition increased, the legislature was finally able to repeal the section of the Transportation code dealing with the Trans-Texas Corridor and pass an eminent domain bill protecting property. The TTC-35 project, a privately built multi-lane toll road, railway and utility line network that was to run parallel to Interstate Highway 35, was canceled. Perry finally backed down in the 2010 Republican primary for governor running against Kay Bailey Hutchinson, and opposed construction of the TTC-35.

NAFTA and expanding free trade sounds good superficially. Unfortunately, it has turned out to be considerably less than free. New York Times best-selling author Jerome Corsi, known for orchestrating the Swift Boat ads targeting John Kerry, wrote a book exposing the NAFTA Superhighway in 2009 called “The Late Great USA: The Coming Merger with Mexico and Canada.” Corsi’s efforts, as well as exposure by Rep. Ron Paul (R-TX) and the website Corsi writes for, WorldNetDaily, may have contributed more to getting the Trans-Texas Corridor shut down than anything else.

Corsi explains in his book that the U.S. is at a disadvantage with “free trade” because unlike most of the world’s international trading countries, we do not charge a value added tax (VAT) to imported goods. This makes our products much more difficult to sell overseas, and other countries’ products much cheaper than ours. The price of union labor drives the costs up even more, making our own products less competitive here as well. This results in a trade imbalance leaving us heavily in debt to other countries, and part of the reason we have a debt ceiling crisis today.

With the economy currently in the tank and nine percent unemployment holding steady, the last thing Americans want is enabling China to sell us more products using cheap exploited labor. Corsi writes that the average age of a worker in a Chinese toy factor is between 12 and 15. The CANAMEX Corridor Coalition, a trade association that supports a transportation super corridor, reports that the average hourly manufacturing wage in the U.S. is $17.20. In Mexico it is $2.10, and in China and India it is $.25.

Furthermore, Corsi has put forth a compelling amount of information in his book showing how the plan to create a North American Union goes well beyond simple free trade agreements and purposely disguises efforts to subvert U.S. sovereignty to an entity that would operate much like the European Union.

Perry already has a record that hurts him with voters concerned about illegal immigration. In April, he stated that he would not support a version of Arizona’s SB 1070 for Texas. In 2001, he signed a bill allowing the children of illegal immigrants to receive in-state tuition at Texas universities. He opposes using E-Verify, the federal electronic system for verifying prospective workers’ immigration status.

Unlike Romney, Perry has not completely disavowed his controversial history as governor. Romney distanced himself from Mass-Care by promising that the first Executive Order he would sign upon becoming president would be a waiver to all 50 states from Obamacare. Perry, on the other hand, proudly lists Trans-Texas Corridor as one of his accomplishments on his website. The state of Texas, multiple factions within the Republican Party, and significant numbers of Democrats oppose the Trans-Texas Corridor. They are not going to sit back and risk repeating an “accomplishment” like this on a national scale. Former president George W. Bush, who was also a Texas governor, was one of the biggest proponents of the NAFTA Superhighway. Voters have the hindsight now to realize that the NAFTA Superhighway is the wrong direction for our country.

Our national debt is over 14 Trillion dollars. Few have any idea just how big a number that is... otherwise they might be more concerned.

So, do YOU have any idea how much one trillion is? Suppose you live about 89 years, a nice long life span. You would have lived about 2.8 billion seconds. If you were approaching your one trillionth second of life, you would have been born in 29,699 B.C.

Our national debt is now over 100% of our gross national product. We are not taxed too little, we spend too much. It is so obvious.

The Debt Tsunami

The federal government will never be able to repay the money they have borrowed. That includes the $ 2.5 trillion dollars they "borrowed" from the social security "trust" fund that is not even included in the $ 14.5 trillion dollar national debt.

The government spending $ 3.8 trillion a year and racking up $ 1.5 trillion a year in deficits has now become the new norm over the past few years. Four years ago the spending was "only" $ 2.7 trillion. Who's being held accountable?

The new debt ceiling bill assures that by the end of 2012 we are going to be in debt $ 17 trillion dollars. That number will grow to at least $ 27 trillion by 2022 and that number doesn't include the cost to the federal government for Obamacare which doesn't kick in until 2014. It is very likely that our national debt will exceed $ 35 trillion dollars within the next 10 years.

The interest on a $ 35 trillion dollar debt will cost the government more than $ 1.7 trillion a year once the rates get back up to the historical average of 5%. That's 75% of the total taxes being collected today. That's our future because our politicians failed to pass a balanced budget amendment. They can't stop themselves from spending and borrowing.

Anyone with half a brain can figure out what happens when you borrow more money than you can afford to pay back. Or in the case of the federal government (since they will never pay the principal back) more interest than you can afford to pay. It's the same whether you're an individual or a government. It will destroy you.

It's often heard that we can't leave this debt crisis to our children and grandchildren. True. But the truth is that anyone who is alive 10-15 years from now will also pay the price for this irresponsibility. The young and the old.

We can blame politicians for this problem but in fact we need to blame ourselves. Too many of us want to see the government continue spending money we don't have... free medical care, free college education, free housing, free food stamps, high speed rail, free drugs, etc. What are they thinking? What ever happened to individual responsibility and self-reliance? The majority of us can see what this debt is going to do to the furure of the country and want to put a stop to it. The only way that's going to happen is if the politicians in Washington hear it loud and clear from the voters. Any politician that is against a balanced budget (no deficits) should be voted out. Democrat or Republican.

The Welfare State

The welfare state corrupts family life. Lots of males have become unnecessary to females, who now depend on the welfare state to fulfill many roles previously filled by a husband.

Also, the welfare state inhibits the maturation of its young citizens into responsible adults (men specifically). Previous generations of American men were raised to aspire to work hard in order to marry and support a wife and children. No more.

A central reason there are men who have not grown up is that the liberal state has told men they don't have to support anybody. They are free to remain boys for as long as they want.

Ready for a Fight

As I look back into the past five or ten years, I see why you’d say I appear to be crazy. I thoughtlessly express my ideas in prose painted a color symbolic of my state of mind. Let’s say its blue...sky, Mediterranean, bruised, aqua, azure, robin’s egg, bluegrass, navy, metallic, satin, transparent. Or, it’s the textured gray of wishing, searching, complaining, holding my breath, addling, fiddling, cleaning, or pretending. Or, maybe, it’s splotchy sand and terra cotta on khaki that wishes for conflict resolution everywhere.

I’ll argue a pointless point. My summary inevitably veers off into a smelly swamp, where I wait for the gators like an orphan waiting for his supper. I invite the gnash of snapping jaws, and when they don’t come, I say “oh, well”. I usually just give up, and I think about what the verbal venom would have been like. I remember the imagined high points and the disingenuous personal attacks. Those go into the “examples of sanity for future reference” file. I add to my list of court arguments in case I’m called as a character witness again.

I probably just talk to hear myself…kind of a way of listening for a heartbeat. I can start a sentence and then try to think up an ending that will make me feel like a genius. That’s been going on for a long time, and I’m not particularly anxious to fix it. I enjoy a comfortable state of pretense occasionally. I think of how I’d handle the office of President. I know this: lots of insecure, anti-authoritarian, left leaning slackers would think I’m crazy. On a national level, cable commentary would blossom, and TV producers would dig around in that swamp for evidence I may have dropped. There’s no doubt they could find little pretend thirty-eight caliber slugs from a nonexistent smoking gun. The conspiracy hunter in me almost guarantees this little confession itself could become a great expose…the handy bombshell that might rocket a yellow thesaurus-wielding cub onto page one.

Obviously, Israel has land to bargain with, but apparently, the Palestinians can only offer a promise...the promise not to murder Israelis.

It makes sense to the big thinkers at the Scarpacci Foundation that Israel also can offer a similar promise (to not murder Palestinians). Therefore, conceding a transfer of land ownership in the deal seems to be "going overboard". Who has done that before?

The welfare state, though often well intended, is nevertheless a Ponzi scheme. Any honest person must acknowledge it. Social Security and Medicare are predicated on collecting money from today's workers in order to pay for those who paid in before them. But today's workers don't have enough money to sustain the scheme, and there are too few of them to do so. Welfare entitlements are distributed mostly to people who aren't really entitled, but welfare makes a good gift for enticing welfare recipient voters to vote for more entitlement thinking. As a result, virtually every welfare state in Europe, and many American states, like California, are going broke.

The bigger the government, the less the citizens do for one another. If the state will take care of me and my neighbors, why should I? This is why Western Europeans, people who have lived in welfare states far longer than Americans have, give less to charity and volunteer less time to others than do Americans of the same socioeconomic status.

The greatest description of American civilization was written in the early 19th century by the Frenchman Alexis de Tocqueville. One of the differences distinguishing Americans from Europeans that he most marveled at was how much Americans -- through myriad associations -- took care of one another. Until President Franklin Roosevelt began the seemingly inexorable movement of America toward the European welfare state -- vastly expanded later by other Democratic presidents -- Americans took responsibility for one another and for themselves far more than they do today. Churches, Rotary Clubs, free-loan societies and other voluntary associations were ubiquitous. As the state grew, however, all these associations declined. In Western Europe, they have virtually all disappeared.

The prime principle of etiquette is that you do not ever make someone feel they have done something wrong. You never make someone feel embarrassed or offended. The rules of etiquette assume the other person cares as much about courteous relations as you do. But what if they don't?

Sociopaths are often ordinary-appearing people who heartlessly use, manipulate, and take advantage of people without the slightest twinge of remorse or regret — and all the while, fooling their victims by imitating human empathy, deliberately giving the impression they have normal human feelings.

But sociopathy isn't the result of a hard upbringing; it isn't the result of an "anger issue" or a lack of opportunity, or anything else. It is the result of being born as a sociopath — a person who has no capacity for human empathy, no guilt, and no feeling of sympathy for others. And no amount of any kind of therapy will help a sociopath become less sociopathic. As a matter of fact, those who get therapy become even more effectively sociopathic because in therapy they learn how to better manipulate people — they learn what excuses people will buy, and they learn how to convey authentic-looking emotions better. They learn more about people, and it makes them more successful at taking advantage of non-sociopaths.

The same must true on a global scale dealing with any group or country that is willing to be ruthless.

If you have ten countries and they all agree to be civil to each other and work out their differences in a civilized manner and to forgo using violence to solve their differences, they will all get along great. But they will also have created an ideal environment to exploit for someone who is willing to use violence to get their way. In fact, the more civilized those ten countries become, the more vulnerable they will be to exploitation by an uncivilized enemy. The more the ten countries disarm themselves, the more ripe they will be for the picking.

What it is that prevents people from getting simple facts about Islam. This is it. Our multicultural friends don't understand that some ideologies are sociopathic, some cultures can be sociopathic, some religious doctrines can be sociopathic, and this ignorance keeps them vulnerable to exploitation and manipulation, and ultimately subjugation.

If you don't personally think it's possible for someone to just be born bad, then you can't conceive of the existence of a born sociopath. And if you can't understand that a person can be born a sociopath, then maybe you can't conceive of the possiblity that a religion could be started by a sociopath and could create an exploitative, violent religious doctrine, creating a global movement of dominance-oriented political action.

And the more people do not want to believe such a thing exists, the more easily they are defeated and subjugated by those who are following this creed. The more civilized people get, the more unwilling they are to make others feel wrong, the more easily they are bowled over and manipulated by those who are willing to exploit their ignorance.

Knowledge of sociopathy is the antidote to all our difficulties. If people understood that sociopaths exist, and if they understood that a sociopath can't be changed or improved, and if they understood that some people are just born that way, then they could understand that not everyone is a good person "deep down" and then they could understand it's possible for a religion to be started by a sociopath, by someone who only wanted to exploit the features of a religion. And if they could get that, they might be able to listen to a description of such a "religion."

And if they could get that, they might actually be willing to defend themselves from it.

I think if these people to whom we've been trying to get through finally realized sociopaths exist, through this chain of realizations, they could ultimately stop being the foolish, exploited victims of Terrorist Islam's ruthless aggression.

And it is cultural suicide to tolerate a government or a religion that actively tries to undermine or destroy ours.

With GM and Chrysler luring the car buying public with multi-million dollar virtual apple pies again, you might be wondering what’s really behind the sexy billboards and hot TV ads. GM seems to be using part of its 49 billion dollar taxpayer bailout to fool the same taxpayers with tricks involving masks and mirrors. There’s nothing like success, but GM’s fiction of success is something sinister to behold. Pay attention to the onslaught of self praise and brand congratulations that have come leaping out of Detroit. Step aside to avoid what follows the avalanche of glamorous photography, green martyrdom, and glowing stats. Unfortunately, measuring real success is difficult for Detroiters, and they’re counting on a pandemic of temporary blindness in the ranks of the car buying “unimmunized”.

The truth is, GM and Chrysler are on kamikaze missions, hoping the enemy (taxpayers) will be asleep. The automakers are flying borrowed assets on your dime, hoping smoke will obscure their real strategy…to survive just long enough to get another sales foothold, and to produce a vehicle long on glam. Reliability and resale value promises will have to be written with disappearing ink. GM and Chrysler have been historically known for building lines of “throw away” cars, but they’re employing hope and change as obfuscation agents. You may discover you’re being courted to buy a “new” throw-away car, but all that’s new is that each vehicle now includes a lottery ticket. Odds are very long.

But, how will this scheme pass muster among the insiders in GM and Chrysler’s own houses?

Bribery.

GM plans to pay bonuses to most managers equal to 15 percent to 20 percent of their annual salary and as high as 50 percent. Bonuses for Chrysler’s 10,755 salaried workers will average about $10,000. Some employees will get up to 50% of their salaries. Do the math.

UAW workers will be publicly incensed and want a bigger signing bonus this fall, so the United Auto Workers, will be demanding a meaningful share of the industry’s growing faux prosperity. But, with the growing prosperity being a sham of smoke and mirrors, UAW workers will have to be fed a special diet of lite-truths, half the fat, and more bribes.

“All the sacrifices that our members made to turn these companies around were part of the process that’s really led to this amazing turnaround”, UAW President Bob King has said. He aims to recover some of the $7,000 to $30,000 in concessions each worker gave up since 2005 to help the U.S. automakers survive. The union surrendered raises, bonuses and cost-of-living adjustments. Other workers gave up their jobs, with nothing except buyouts and pensions to take with them. They’ll all certainly demand COLA and vacation/holiday extras. Where will these bribery billions come from?

Extortion.

The same bargaining fate that pushed two of the big three auto makers out onto a bankruptcy cliff in 2009 will almost certainly awaken soon again. UAW will push their extraordinary weight around again, and ownership will cave…again. Why hold out when the pro-union administration is offering no-fault insurance for organized labor? This time, before December 7^th. they’ll “Climb Mount Niitaka” with their fingers crossed.

Why didn't fast recovery kick in after the economic disaster in 1929?

During 1930-1933 the American economy was a hostage to fear and a no-spend mentality.

In 1933, Franklin Delano Roosevelt’s economic recovery plan, the New Deal, instituted programs for relief, recovery and reform. The New Deal was characterized by substantial government takeover of the free market. Tariffs were passed during the Hoover administration, and six months after their implementation, unemployment rose to the double digit figures that characterized that decade of the thirties.

The 1933 "New Deal", program named the National Recovery Administration (NRA), was supposed to stimulate demand and provide work and relief through increased government spending. The NRA set maximum prices and wages in all industries and it dictated conditions that killed competition.

The NRA assisted in implementing requirements for industries to accept unions, to increase union bargaining power, and to restrict companies in bargaining.

NRA required farmers to limit production with the hope that agricultural prices would go up. The Agricultural Adjustment Act paid land owners subsidies for leaving some of their land idle. Ten million acres of mature cotton was plowed up, corn and wheat crops were left to rot, and six million baby pigs were killed and discarded. This succeeded in causing the cost of food and dry goods to skyrocket. This intervention resulted in higher incomes for farmers and poverty for lots of non-farm families.

Roosevelt’s effort to spend America into prosperity failed. Between 1933 and 1939, federal expenditures tripled, but the effect on unemployment was to cause a jump from 14.3% in 1937 to 19.0% in 1938. Massive strikes had a negative impact on major industries, including the automobile industry.

Virtually no economists credit the government domination policies of the Thirties for America’s economic recovery in the Forties. Third parties worked to strengthen ties between the Roosevelt administration and the business community, and by the end of 1941, defense spending and military mobilization had started one of the greatest booms in American history, ending the last traces of unemployment. The post war recovery was phenomenal due to pent up demand and unfettered free market supply.

The plumber was standing in my kitchen, a short, beefy guy with a goatee and a Red Sox cap and a thick Boston accent, and I suddenly learned that I didn’t have the slightest idea what he was talking about. Fourteen years of higher education and four Ivy League degrees left me stiff and stupid, struck dumb by my own incompetence. I could carry on conversations with people from other countries in other languages, but I couldn’t talk to this professional plumber.

Yale and Columbia have shown me that elite colleges relentlessly encourage their students to flatter themselves for being there, and for what being there can do for them, but handling real life skills curiously escaped from the 400 semester hour Sociology compendium.

The last thing an elite education will teach you is its own inadequacy. Elite schools pride themselves on their diversity, but that diversity is almost entirely a matter of ethnicity and race, not life skills diversity.

The first disadvantage of an elite education, as I learned in my kitchen that day, is that it makes you incapable of talking to people who aren’t like you. Because these schools tend to cultivate liberal attitudes, they leave their students in the paradoxical position of seeking the prestige that comes from advocating on behalf of the working class while being unable to hold a simple conversation with anyone in it.

An elite education inculcates a false sense of self-worth. Getting to an elite college, being at an elite college, and going on from an elite college—all involve numerical rankings: SAT, GPA, GRE. You learn to think of yourself in terms of those numbers. They come to signify your mind’s unique sense of your own fate, your identity, and your value.

The system was conceitedly rigged to deny graduates like me, along the way to alumnus prestige and lucrative jobs, that the most important achievements can’t be measured by a letter or a number or a name. It conveniently omitted a fundamental; that the true purpose of education is to make minds, not careers.

Being an intellectual begins with thinking your way outside your assumptions and the system that enforces them. But students who get into elite schools are precisely the ones who have best learned to work within the system, so it’s almost impossible for them to see outside it.

NATO information presents a grim view of the outlook for peace in the Afghan-Pakistan border region. Although there has been security progress in areas where coalition forces are stationed, a NATO spokesman admits, "in some areas, we don't know what's going on."

There are 500,000 to 1,000,000 million "disaffected" men between the ages of 15 and 25 along the Afghan-Pakistan border region, and Afghan Pashtun insurgency attacks are motivated by an urgent need to get money. Fighting for hard-core Taliban ideology is not the prime motivation of the insurgents. In addition to insurgent operations, hard core Taliban groups such as the Pakistani Taliban can muster as many as 30,000 fighters.

There is a huge criminal enterprise in this part of Afghanistan dealing in human, drug, and mineral trafficking. Those enterprises both support and benefit from the insurgency. This combination of factors makes the potential for a lawful peace impossible at this time.

HAVANA – Fidel Castro told a visiting American journalist that Cuba's communist economic model doesn't work, a rare comment on domestic affairs from a man who has conspicuously steered clear of local issues since stepping down four years ago. The fact that things are not working efficiently on this cash-strapped Caribbean island is hardly news. Fidel's brother Raul, the country's president, has said the same thing repeatedly. But the blunt assessment by the father of Cuba's 1959 revolution is sure to raise eyebrows. Jeffrey Goldberg, a national correspondent for The Atlantic magazine, asked if Cuba's economic system was still worth exporting to other countries, and Castro replied: "The Cuban model doesn't work for us anymore, but we would like to trade it to the US for some tickets to “Taste of Chicago”.

The state controls well over 90 percent of the economy, paying workers salaries of about $20 a month, and it provides free health care through a dialup internet link to www.web-md.com. Arpaio Fights Back

The U.S. Justice Department is seeking to put Sheriff Joe Arpaio into a stretching frame reminiscent of the one Johnny Depp was strapped to in Pirates of the Carribbean. The Attorney General said the Arizona lawman refused for more than a year to give up all the documents in the sheriff’s department file room. The AG is publicizing his investigation into allegations of discrimination against illegal Mexican aliens who may tend to vote Democrat, and the stretching frame is meant to tear Arpaio limb from limb, "which we ought to do whether he complies or not" the AG said.

For maximum media impact, the lawsuit calls Arpaio and his office's defiance "unprecedented, unholy, pornographic, phobic, grotesque, insane, paranoid, schizophrenic, greedy, felonious, anarchic, unsanitary, and environmentally disastrous", and said the federal government has been trying since March 2009 to get “something…anything” on the sheriff and his department. “He’s slippery, and we’re trying to keep his squeaky-clean past out of the mainstream”, the Justice Department spokesman said.

Arpaio called the Justice Department actions harassment at a news conference Thursday morning in downtown Phoenix. His office has said it won't hand over additional documents, and it won’t hand over the heavy duty Oster doughnut machine federal authorities have demanded.

"They have hundreds of thousands of reports, hundreds of thousands," Arpaio said. "And, they just want the Oster for their own use, he added."

Arpaio denies allegations of racial profiling, saying people are stopped if deputies have probable cause to believe they've committed crimes, and that it's only afterward that deputies find many of them are illegal immigrants. “Anyhow, both law enforcement personnel and pink shirted inmates in Maricopa County’s tent city enjoy the variety of glazed, cake, and filled doughnuts every day”, the sheriff said in his closing remarks.

I dreamed about what it'd be like to work on the 32nd floor. It was a hazy picture that only came around a few times. My job was on the first floor, and I never got up into the carpeted cubes. I missed some big benefits, but it didn't seem to hold me back from my brand of vida loca. Who's lucky? I know I am.

So, what about those executives who traveled in the high speed lanes? Were they all taking home big six or seven figure benefit baskets? Maybe so. Let them deal with the rich man's phobic self consciousness. I'll be at home taking my kids to soccer while the big boys are spending personal time in airports and restaurants. I'll trade even up.

My buddy Ace next door is doing 44 hours a week in Dickies, too, but he's green with jealousy. His boss is Hitler, and his corporation has been infiltrated by the Rasputin family. According to Ace, his company lies, steals, and cheats everybody. His in-laws stink, the police department is crooked, and the Governor is an arrogant fool. Old Ace is fed up with those self-righteous Christians, and he says the Constitution has to get a face lift. There's the poor working man, and there are the Wall Street thieves.

Anyway, that's what he heard on 60 Minutes, and he said it was verified on CNN. On Saturday mornings, my pal listens to NPR for the real stories about slavery, friendly fire, and foreclosures. He voted for the guy who invented the law against hate crime.

I can't talk to Ace about much. We agree on fertilizer and weed killer and tap water. That's about it. I'm all mixed up about how my neighbor got the way he is. I like Ace, but there's so much we avoid when we talk about the big things.

I wonder if I missed something in my childhood. Maybe, I took the wrong classes in school. Ace seems to be pretty sure of what he thinks, but I'm not smart enough to figure out how to straighten him out.

I decided that my neighbor Ace is jealous of everyone who has more than him. I wish I knew what that means for America.

It has been known, understood, and accepted by scholars in the developed world that wealth is not created by governments, but it has not been clearly accepted that debt cannot be borne by governments.

Your government is a pauper in regal attire. It’s a money shifter…a high horsepower engine of distribution. But, the tide that raises all ships never flows directly from government. At the end of the day, your government has no assets and no liabilities…it’s a zero sum operator.

The wealth and the debt are yours. Right now in America, you and every other citizen owes about $40,000 to buy back the IOUs your Congress has written. And, your Congress can’t pay. So the question is: Who’s holding the IOUs, and who’s going to have to pay? Well, look in your wallet to see how many IOUs you have. Cash? An uncashed paycheck? Look in your checkbook, your savings book, and at your 401k statement. Add the market value of all your “stuff”. Remember, you can’t add it unless you can sell it. Look under your mattress. That’s the collection I’m calling your “wealth”.

Now, add up your mortgage and all your other bills. Add $40,000 for each person in your household. That’s your debt. But, wait! Even if you can pull multiples of $40,000 out of your cache of “wealth” to pay your share and Mama’s share, what about all those Americans who can’t? Sooner or later, you’ll chip in for all those shares, too. You’ll think you’ve been robbed. Someday, you’ll stare into that empty safe deposit box and wonder who stole your wealth. Remember this little news flash. You did when you voted. You picked Representatives and Senators who unfortunately are inept money managers. Concepts like “defraud”, “mismanage”, “abscond”, “fleece”, “embezzle”, “rob”, and “bamboozle” tend to reduce the milk toast term “inept” into insignificance. Congressional “fiduciary flim flam” and “arrogant obfuscation” are labels that suit my way of thinking.

Ultimately, you’ll pay. Perhaps you can just “feel good” about chipping in for all the less fortunate Americans who haven’t saved up for the “debt collector”. Or, this time…perhaps you can vote.

It's disingenuous to advertise your success when all you've done is "say" you're successful. You obviously don't know much, but you're pretending that you do.

When you and reality are strangers, it's dangerous to get in bed together. When you hold the keys to the most powerful military in the world, you'd be a fool not to learn how to drive. When you hold the majority of the wealth in the western hemisphere within your grasp, you'd be wise to study up on fiduciary duty.

When you're still untaught, inexperienced, blind to reality, confused, unwilling to listen, arrogant, and surrounded by fools, you're gonna have a bad day. You're gonna infect a lot of ignorant, but healthy people with your disease, too.

The philosophy of the Greek Cynics (like Antisthenes and Diogenes) was that their purpose was to live a life of virtue in agreement with nature. This meant rejecting all conventional desires for wealth, power, health, and fame, and by living a simple life free from all possessions. As reasoning creatures, people could gain happiness by rigorous training and by living in a way which was natural for humans. They believed that the world belonged equally to everyone, and that suffering was caused by false judgments of what was valuable and by the worthless customs and conventions which surrounded society.

(Love of Self) There are four reasons why the Cynics are so named. First because of the indifference in their way of life, for they make a cult of indifference (eating, sleeping, and making love) in public, going barefoot, and living in public places.

(Lack of Shame) The second reason is that they live shamelessly, and they arrogantly portray immodest superiority. They hold no regard for others nor for decency in social activities.

(Paranoia) The third reason is that they are discriminating so as to distinguish between friends and enemies. They recognize as friends those who are suited to cynicism, and receive them kindly, while those who live otherwise, they drive away with outward prejudice.

(Neurosis) The fourth reason is that Cynics are passionately vocal in their cover up behavior of complaining, criticizing, and indicting others who they believe are subjecting them to domination, guilt, and ridicule.

Scarpacci’s Conclusion: Cynics are as common as street corner beggars because we subsidize and protect them just as we’d protect a lost child or a wandering Alzheimer’s victim. We contribute to their lifestyles with charity, handouts, and Christian patience. We overlook their weaknesses, but we fail to envision the destructive propaganda machine they can become when their cynical mob feeding frenzy occurs. In mature stages, Cynics can achieve street corners of great influence, like owners and publishers of national and world media. We should seek out and respect constructive criticism, but cynicism should have been handled in 400BC by a Greek psychiatrist.

(Scarpacci Media) - A U.S .appeals court in Madison Wisconsin ruled Friday that police cannot track a suspect using enhanced vision without a warrant, tossing out the conviction of a man arrested for drug dealing.

The U.S.Court of Appeals in Washington overturned the 2008 conviction of Antoine Jones, saying police violated his constitutional rights by tracking his movements by using a police investigator with eyes "jacked up" with lens implants and 20-15 vision correction without a warrant.

The three-judge panel ruled that Washington police effectively established their case by tracking Jones via illegal vision devices to locations of drug activity.

"It is one thing for a passerby to glance at a drug dealer or stare at a large breasted movie star during a single journey as he or she goes to the market or returns home from work," the court opinion said.

"It is another thing entirely for that stranger to see highly magnified or exceptionally high quality visible details dogging his prey until he has seen that person's hitherto private routine."

The judges said the use of "pepped up" vision was a violation of the constitutional guarantee in the Fourth Amendment of unreasonable searches and seizures, saying it was an "intrusion" into "private affairs."

There is a suspicion of potential grave economic harm to the U.S. through the abandonment of Free Market adherence. Recession, depression, unemployment, bankruptcy, foreclosure, homelessness, malnutrition, starvation, collapse of family structure, crime, overcrowding, epidemic, pandemic, and psychological disintegration are a few of the possible outcomes.

Therefore, the Comment Central Committee calls upon the President of the United States, the Senate, and the House of Representatives to repeal any and all laws standing in the way of a pure form of unfettered free market supply and demand, and to take precautions to only enact laws that are with neither commercial tethers nor financial stipulations.

No One Reads Your Blog

I’ve studied the traffic on several blogs, and I’m claiming to be an expert on this subject. It occurred to me one Monday that there are millions of internet searchers who are loaded with opinions, and hundreds of thousands of interested people who have actual data on hundreds of millions of topics.

Now, you’re one person. For your little blog, you have the prospect of a few random hits. You’re getting up to five a week.

Your friends and relatives only have a slight interest in what you think, because most people are uninteresting, and they have inconsequential points of view. Doubters should go sign up for Facebook.

If you advertise, your pitch is what’s important. Try pitching car repair to a bike rider. So much for that. There are 20,000 car repair blogs. In any particular week, 200,000 people are searching the internet and interested in car repair, so it would seem that you’d deserve 10 hits a week. But…it’s also your Google score. The guys who know the Google search rules get the lookers first, and, bingo!

You can go to other blogs and invite those bloggers to “join” your blog. You’ll attract a lot of other low traffic blog owners to all coagulate into a big blog fest. It’s a cluster teeming with people who agree and others who play the critic. Lots of traffic can build the “invitational” blog into a hot property. In reality, it’s simply a place where desperate bloggers go to comment and hope for reciprocal commentary. Artificial traffic.

You can actually “buy” comments for your slow poke blog. For ten cents, a part-time pro commenter will leave five somewhat pertinent comments on you blog. What he says doesn’t mean he found your blog significant, interesting, shrewd, or entertaining. It means he’ll give up a few minutes to make up something to give you in the comment section. He can cut and paste his way to make a few bucks an hour.

But, don’t take it too hard. You’re definitely unique and one of a kind. You’re a real star in the little sphere close to where you live. Your little blog probably impresses you. You’re somebody. Be happy you have the freedom to do what you do. Your blog is an expression of more than you think. It’s technological miracle in the mind of a nineteenth century thinker. It’s the epitome of free speech to a citizen of some other country where speech is not free. Go ahead and congratulate yourself.

Here’s another thought about the freedom you may be looking for. You may find your solution to significance there, too. Go see it.

It’s not natural to be a slave¹ to anyone or anything, so arrange yourself and your relationships so you avoid being dominated. If you join an organization or entertain a friendship, retain your full freedom to participate in group activities or to decline. Make sure your obligations don’t over reach your ability to fulfill them. Adopt a set of personal principles² that represent the bedrock on which you can base all your behaviors and decisions. Be known as a person of principles.

Don’t think your freedom gives you an excuse to do any whimsical thing that pops into your mind, though. Some actions or behaviors can work against you, and some may destroy your status of freedom. You can always be sure if you use your freedom to follow and live the principles you have adopted, you will certainly be content.

Ego, arrogance, conceit, hubris, and selfishness are at odds with freedom. Instead of thinking only of yourself, give careful thought to the safety, care, and the precious importance of others. Thinking only of yourself ultimately erodes your own freedom. Selfishly and greedily wanting to get your own way all the time is a destructive behavior. When you fail to share your time, your selfishness will be clearly seen by others. Compulsive activities that consume your time and your usefulness corrode your chance for unlimited freedom. Be careful not to become a slave to compulsive activities. Take charge of your own character and your own life.

If you think you will enjoy freedom simply by obeying the law within its wide limits and nothing more, you will fail. You must honor the principles you have selected for your life, not just the law.

Don’t live by comparing yourself with others. You are a unique combination of an original one of a kind person intertwined with the set of principles you live by.

Your freedom also depends on how freely you help others. Invent ways to make your life and the lives of others more enjoyable. Create interventions that invite others to know who you are and how you live. Give gifts of your time and your care.

Decide what useful work will fulfill your desire for what life can supply. Go to work and give your best efforts. In the midst of your diligence, success will find you, and this useful condition will insure your freedom. For your work, your efforts, your diligence, and ultimately for your freedom, you are solely responsible. Undertaking full responsibility for your own life will lead to maturity and self-sufficiency that defines freedom.

You will encounter others who seem to be slaves to one thing or another. If you make a decision to help them find personal freedom, be careful and remember every person is one of a kind, and he or she may be living with a different set of principles. Be kind in giving assistance so others will experience your caring with no hint of selfishness or judgmental comparisons. Care is best supplied with generosity and without conditions.

It's not about Healthcare, It's about Freedom

President Obama, I watched uneasily to what you and your Democrat cohorts did yesterday, and I ask you to search your heart and ask what sort of unfathomable neurotic, jealous hatred led you to set into motion this financial crime of the century? And, I have an answer for you. It may not satisfy you, but as I search the record of this campaign of fraud, accusation and deceit, it comes as close to an accurate explanation as anything I know.

It seems to me you hate the one thing that to us is most precious. You hate our freedom. I’m referring to our individual freedom to live as we choose, to come and go as we choose, to believe or not believe as we individually choose, and to sustain a free marketplace as we choose. That freedom.

You must have been “not present” that day when you were supposed to learn about how much we prize individual freedom. We believe that responsibilities reside in the individual and that individual justice must be administered fairly. It is for freedom's sake that your fellow Americans are trying so hard to bring the easily predictable facts to you, but it’s obvious you cannot conceive of their truth.

We Americans are all about freedom, and most of us know the way we treat others is the measure of our own liberties. Make no mistake though: we will bear any burden and pay any price to preserve our freedoms. Look around, and remember today well. The world is not going to remember what I say, and the day after tomorrow it will be forgotten. But your ignorance, hatred, and narcissistic arrogance will endure for as long as history records monumental failure.

Here in Indiana, and all across America, citizens will gather to see that individual justice is being done. See that flag, Mr. Obama? That's the flag of the United States of America. That flag will fly here long after this is all forgotten. This flag stands for freedom. It will survive, even when detractors like you try to selectively redistribute freedom and anoint yourselves with the oil of power.

There’s another flag flying in some other part of the world that stands for thievery, fraud, and mindless domination. Threads of that flag are not welcome here.
