The Road to Jericho

We all have to make choices every day about helping others who are unable to help themselves. Mostly, we don't go out of our way looking for deserving handicapped or disabled folks to assist. Occasionally, we chance upon a citizen in distress, a stranded motorist, a blind person trying to cross Main Street, or an unfortunate traveler just beaten and robbed by a band of Levites.

Give a hand to me
Seek out compassion's burden
Firmly and gently
